I still love an open concept for family living. This whole space makes me want to jump in there and stay awhile. I love all the neutrals and how the focus and light come from outside, looking on to the pool. I've seen a lot of older homes that have a more closed in concept, where this can be achieved if you take down a few walls. Get Ready for Brass and Gold! They are Back.

It's on the fringes for the everyday shopper, but gold and brass fixtures are coming back! I saw some vintage 70's gold and glass pendants in a bathroom the other day in a house I was looking at, and I wish I could have snagged them. In the design world, Deco and Mid-Century modern is finally moving it's way to the South.  Those styles have been hot in the Western United States for some time, in LA, Arizona, Colorado, etc. So glad to see it coming here.

One of my favorite accessories and lighting lines is Lazy Susan. I have personally bought a LOT from them and I love every piece. Take a look at these gold pendants, I think they are scrumptious.
